The terminology Build-to-Rent is relatively new to the Australian property industry. Quite simply it is building a property for the sole purpose of renting. A significant property category in other countries, it is new to Australia and gaining a lot of momentum.
In our market this emerging property sector is dominated by large players, building apartment complexes across our major capital cities. At build2rent.org, as with build2sell.org we are introducing opportunities to those whom wish to invest in building homes for investment purposes.

Our Build-to-Live focus is exactly what the name states, building homes to live in. Originally Build-to-Rent was our focus, however our relationships with those we have worked with in the past has seen us enjoy considerable enquiry from those looking to build their own home.
Quite simply it is building your home, where you will live, and we work together on a considered design to meet the needs of you, your family, your lifestyle and other influences.

Our Build-to-Sell opportunity is about identifying what we call project opportunities in the current market. In certain circumstances there are opportunities where we can work with you on your own small development project. Often it is simply demolishing an existing home, strata titling the land, and building multiple dwellings for sale.
The scale and size of the opportunity is only limited by the capital available and the risk assessment that we undertake with you when performing due diligence on any opportunity.

EVALUATE/ASSESS
We work together on gaining an understanding of what your funding capacity is.
It is critical before we commence the process of identifying any location or build, that you have your funding in place, as the ability to move swiftly
is critical to our negotiations for any opportunity

LOCATE/IDENTIFY
We work together and identify your suburb/suburbs of choice, where we assess what is influencing your build. If it is an investment then median rental value is important, if it is your personal home it may be schools or local amenties that influence your decision.

OFFER/COMMIT
We assist you commit formally to your location and the build, assisting negotiate with the land agent related to the Offer & Acceptance for your land. Concurrently we assist with your home design. We work with you through the initial submitting and acceptance, and into the land settling and construction phase.

HANDOVER/LIVE
We remain working with you through the entire admin and construction phase through to the completion of your build. With investment builds we can assist with handover
to ongoing property management on your behalf. We know your build is all about timing, and ensure time management is maximised whenever possible.
